The ideal candidate needs to have a strong understanding of the current SEO and SEM trends. He or she will manage a portfolio of existing and future clients and focus on improving their SEO using white hat SEO techniques only. The SEO Executive is expected to possess exceptional interpersonal skills since the job will involve interacting with clients and, translating the client’s request into a working SEO plan that will be implemented with the rest of the team.

The ideal candidate must have a proven commercial SEO track record. You should have a strong grasp of the latest digital marketing trends with a bias towards on-page SEO and link building. You’ll be expected to demonstrate relevant SEO results you’ve achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough analysis of client websites
• Develop an SEO plan based on findings and client needs
• Perform thorough keyword research and analysis to discover potential opportunities
• Implement SEO plan in line with set budget and within timeline
• Create and publish content on client site, social media and other websites
• Develop and implement link building campaigns
• Monitor and evaluate web analytics tools to come up with solid SEO strategies
• Provide detailed performance reports for client and management use
• Maintain good working relationship with clients

Professional skills and qualifications

• Proven SEO experience
• Understanding of the SEO process, trends and technologies
• Working knowledge of keyword analysis tools like Google Keyword Planner
• Working knowledge of analytics tools like Goggle Analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and website administration
• Knowledge of SEM and Social Media Marketing will be an added advantage
• BA or BS degree required
